The Glenville Oktoberfest Committee in coordination with the Town of Glenville, invites community members to assist in the planning and hosting of 2018’s Oktoberfest to be held Saturday, September 29th at Glenville’s Maalwyck Park.
This event, now in its 9th year, with attendance totaling 7,000 – 10,000, needs help from the community in order to ensure its success now and in future years.
A core group of volunteers is in place to lead the committees, but is looking for additional help on a variety of sub-committees.
Key areas of need include:
- Sponsorship Committee – Raises funds needed to host event
- Activities Committee – Recruitment, planning and delivery of all field activities.
- Volunteer Committee – Recruitment and coordination of the many event volunteers.
- Publicity Committee – Social Media – Promoting the event using various social media platforms.
Additional committee volunteer opportunities are also available.
